Training: DBT Intensive Program
MASTER DBT WITH YOUR TEAM
A comprehensive online training & consultation program designed for established clinical teams
12 Months | 57 CE/CME Credits
PART A: DBT Foundational Training & Team Consultation | 12 Weeks
Your journey begins with 12 weeks of immersive course content, paired with expert-guided team consultations.
DBT FOUNDATIONAL ONLINE COURSE
- This 12-week self-directed course is where your DBT Intensive training starts. On the program’s launch date, each team member will receive an email with everything they need to dive in.
- Four essential DBT textbooks are provided as downloadable PDFs, ready for use on day one.
- The materials for this 12 week course will be available for each team member to work through at their own pace. We recommend dedicating around 2.5 hours per week to work through the course content and homework assignments. Weekly homework tasks will also need to be checked and signed off by the team leader.
- With 12 months of extended access, you can revisit the material anytime to solidify your knowledge.
TEAM CONSULTATION
- Beginning in Week 2 of the course, your team will engage in live consultation sessions with your expert DBT trainer via video conferencing within the Psychwire platform. Meetings are planned in advance to suit your team’s schedule.
- The first session will run for two hours, followed by three 1.5-hour sessions. Your expert trainer will guide you in building a strong DBT consultation team and address any questions about the Foundational material.
PART B: Program Implementation, Clinical Work, and Consultation
As your team transitions to applying DBT in practice, consultations continue to provide ongoing guidance.
TEAM CONSULTATION
- For the next nine months, your team will meet regularly with your DBT expert via video conferencing within the Psychwire platform. These sessions focus on implementing your DBT program, treating clients, and collaborating on team-based assignments.
- Scheduling is flexible, allowing your team to balance these meetings alongside your clinical caseload.
